With most lenders, it will be on the 1st anniversary month of the loan’s settlement. For example, if you settle on the 16th of August, your first repayment will be on the 16th of September.
The bank allows you to pay off your loan between 25 to 30 years. However, you are entitled and able to pay off this loan earlier than the loan’s expiry date.
You can switch between principal and interest-only repayments during the life of your loan. However, there are bank limits to how long you can have the interest-only period.
